10 Top Reasons to Exercise

Just in case you were unaware…we live in the Information Age!

Unfortunately, even with all this knowledge available at our fingertips, we just can’t seem to get the majority of society to recognize or understand the important role exercise plays in how we live and how we age.

Sure, most people will almost always shy away from anything that they perceive as hard. And yes, unfortunately, most people think incorporating exercise, at the appropriate levels, into their daily life as tough. But it doesn’t have to be!

To be honest, if people were to pay attention, getting 15-30 minutes of some form of fitness daily is a hell of a lot easier than slowly dying in an unhealthy body!

We wanted to make it as simple as possible for anyone and everyone to see some of the top reasons exercise should be a priority.  In this simple list, we are sure you can find at least a few you can personally attach to.

10 Top Reasons to Exercise

  1. Improves Quality of Life: Live longer, happier, healthier!
  2. Reduces Risk of Disease and Illness: Boosts your immune system, reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure!
  3. Increases Strength Levels: The stronger we are, the easier daily life, now, and later, becomes!
  4. Helps You Feel Better: More energy, more flexibility, more enjoyment in daily life!
  5. Prevents Obesity: Anything that can help reduce excess body fat should be a goal for all!
  6. Improves Your Appearance: Who doesn’t want to not only feel and perform better but look better also!
  7. Improves Self Esteem: It’s simple. The better you look, feel, and perform… the happier, more confident you will be!
  8. Acts as a Natural Anti-Depressant: Exercise provides a proven, healthy stress-relief!
  9. Gives You Goals and Purpose: Setting and achieving goals sets a new standard of expectation, thus one small success leads to another!
  10. Creates Greater Success: The happier and healthier your body and mind, the more productive, successful you will be!

We are not so foolish as to assume that you will emotionally attach to all ten of these benefits of exercise, but our hope is that at least a few will move you towards taking your fitness more seriously.

Remember, your fitness, nutrition, and supplementation plan does not need to be tedious. It must, however, be a priority!

FYI…utilizing tools such as Intermittent Fasting and HIIT (high-intensity interval training) can, and will, provide incredible results in a fraction of the time most people perceive as necessary to “get fit”.

You only have one life to live, one body to live it in, so take care of it. Progress, not perfection. Good, better, best with your food intake and some form of movement daily.     I used to exercise on a regular basis. Then got some injury and have to stop. Now trying to overcome my injury to start exercising again. All ten are valid and good reasons to exercise but reduce risks of illness and prevent obesity must be at the top of the list. Then I think the quality of life and feel better reasons will come in. I think whatever reason that clicks best for you, use that as a motivation to go exercise.

    Many thanks to you for giving us such a beautiful article and you have learned through the article many tips on maintaining my physical fitness. I think we should exercise at least 45 minutes a day to maintain our physical fitness and if we do then we will not have physical weakness. I do physical exercise for at least two hours every day and I am better than ever. When I read your article I found that you described very well how we can maintain our physical fitness through exercise. I use all of the tools you mentioned, and I hope that many of these tools will be used after reading your article and will share with you at least very soon.

    In my late teens I stopped exercising for a period as I didn’t enjoy nor did I understand how important it was for me. Admittedly I was stuck in a rut but after a while and slowly getting into it again I understood why us as humans need to exercise instead of just being stuck looking at our screens.

    When you don’t exercise you tend to feel lacklustre so my main motive on your list was #1.

      Josh, this happens to millions each and every year, time and again, in January! Unfortunately, it seems as though most of society needs an extreme fear or occurrence before they begin to take their health and well-being to heart. One day at a time….15-30 minutes each day! Just DO IT!
